June Dairy Month is once again bringing communities together across Wisconsin, with nearly 80 dairy breakfasts, farm tours, and local celebrations scheduled throughout the month.
The events provide residents and visitors with an opportunity to experience the state's dairy industry up close while learning more about the farms and families behind Wisconsin’s world-renowned dairy products.
From enjoying farm-fresh meals to touring working dairy operations, attendees can participate in a variety of activities designed to showcase modern dairy farming.
Interactive exhibits, educational programs, and opportunities to meet local producers help connect consumers with the people responsible for producing the milk, cheese, and other dairy products they enjoy.
Whether visitors are longtime Wisconsin residents or first-time travelers exploring America’s Dairyland, June Dairy Month offers a chance to experience the traditions, innovation, and strong community ties that have made Wisconsin a leader in dairy production.
A statewide calendar listing dairy breakfasts, farm tours, and community events is available through Wisconsin Dairy.
“June Dairy Month is one of the best times of the year to experience Wisconsin dairy,” said Chad Vincent, CEO of Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin.
“These events give families an opportunity to visit local farms, meet dairy farmers, enjoy great food and learn more about the care, commitment and innovation that go into producing the dairy products they enjoy every day.”
Dairy breakfasts continue to be a signature attraction, drawing communities together to enjoy pancakes, cheese, ice cream, and other locally produced dairy favorites.
More than 200,000 people are expected to participate in events statewide throughout June.
The celebration also shines a spotlight on Wisconsin’s dairy farm families. Nearly all dairy farms in the state are family-owned, many spanning multiple generations.
With a $52.8 billion economic impact and support for more than 120,000 jobs, the dairy industry remains a vital contributor to Wisconsin’s economy and cultural heritage.
