Dairy’s Foundation Offers Grants for Dairy Education Projects

Dairy’s Foundation Offers Grants for Dairy Education Projects

By Blake Jackson

Dairy’s Foundation is accepting applications for its grant program, offering organizations across the United States an opportunity to develop educational and outreach initiatives that benefit the dairy industry. Applications must be submitted by December 1, 2026.

Eligible organizations can receive grants of up to $10,000 to support projects that strengthen the dairy sector, prepare future dairy leaders and professionals, or improve public understanding of dairy among consumers and communities.

“Some of the most valuable programs begin by identifying a need and finding a new way to address it,” said Floyd Sutton, Chair of Dairy’s Foundation Board of Directors. “These grants give organizations an opportunity to develop programs that can make a difference for dairy producers, students and the public.”

Since 2010, the foundation has distributed more than $375,000 to educational programs addressing industry needs and providing resources for people involved in dairy.

Previous projects have included producer education, leadership training and initiatives connecting students and communities with agriculture.

An independent grant-selection committee will evaluate applications. Organizations holding 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(5) tax-exempt status are eligible to apply.

Interested organizations can review application requirements and additional details at www.dairyfoundation.org/grant-seekers. Questions about the program can be directed to info@dairyfoundation.org. The foundation encourages sharing this opportunity with organizations that may benefit from funding.
