Kentuckiana Crop Seminar Set for December 2025

The upcoming Kentuckiana Crop Production Seminar will take place on December 2-3, 2025, at the French Lick Springs Hotel in French Lick, Indiana.

Organized by the Kentucky Agricultural Business Association, this two-day event will feature leading agricultural experts discussing the latest research, technologies, and management strategies for crop producers across the region.

Attendees can earn Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credits and applicator continuing education units (CEUs) for both Indiana and Kentucky. Topics will range from sustainable crop management to the latest in fertilizer and disease control innovations.

On December 2, Dr. Chad Lee from the University of Kentucky will present “Can Corn Reduce Carbon Costs?” exploring realistic carbon reduction strategies in corn production.

Following that, Dr. Greg Schwab of Schwab Agronomic Consultants will discuss “New Innovations in Fertilizer Technology,” highlighting advancements designed to improve nitrogen use efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

On December 3, Dr. Carl Bradley from the University of Kentucky will provide an “Update on Soybean Diseases in Kentucky,” and Dr. Darcy Telenko from Purdue University will cover “Corn Diseases: What We Found in Indiana.”
