Kentucky Venues Sets Stage for Major November Events

By Blake Jackson

Kentucky Venues is preparing for a busy and successful November 2026 with a lineup of major events expected to attract thousands of visitors and generate significant economic activity. The organization operates both the Kentucky Exposition Center and the Kentucky International Convention Center, two of the state's most important event facilities.

According to the November forecast, a total of 12 events are scheduled across the two venues. Combined attendance is estimated at more than 212,600 visitors, while the overall economic impact is projected to reach nearly $23.5 million. These figures highlight the important role that large-scale events play in supporting tourism, local businesses, and the regional economy.

The Kentucky Exposition Center will host two major events during the month. Together, they are expected to attract approximately 200,000 attendees and generate more than $14 million in economic impact.

The largest event on the schedule is the 2026 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE), which will take place from November 5 to November 19. Widely recognized as the world's largest purebred livestock exposition, the event will welcome more than 25,000 livestock entries representing ten species. Visitors will have the opportunity to see beef and dairy cattle, sheep, swine, goats, llamas, and alpacas, among other animals.

NAILE is expected to draw around 200,000 attendees. In addition to livestock competitions and exhibitions, visitors can enjoy shopping opportunities at the North American Country Store and entertainment at The Hitching Post, which offers food and live music. The event continues to be one of the most important agricultural gatherings in North America.

Another featured event at the Kentucky Exposition Center is the North American Championship Rodeo, presented by Rural 1st. Scheduled for November 12 through November 14, the rodeo will bring three evenings of professional rodeo competition to Freedom Hall.

Spectators can watch events such as bull riding, barrel racing, and steer wrestling. The rodeo is held as part of the larger NAILE event and adds excitement for visitors attending the livestock exposition.

The Kentucky International Convention Center will host 10 events during November. These events are expected to welcome approximately 12,600 attendees and generate more than $9.3 million in estimated economic impact.

One of the few public events at the convention center is the Import Expo Car Show on November 21. The event will showcase modified and custom vehicles from multiple automotive categories, including imports, domestic vehicles, European models, and Japanese performance cars. Organizers expect hundreds of car enthusiasts to attend.

Several professional conferences and industry meetings will also take place throughout the month. Among the largest is the NASA SEWP Meeting 2026, which is expected to attract about 3,100 attendees. The event focuses on procurement programs, contract management, reporting requirements, and compliance procedures.

The Kentucky Psychological Association Annual Convention will bring together psychologists, students, and mental health professionals for educational sessions and networking opportunities. The German American Bank Employee Meeting will gather employees from across the organization for company-wide discussions.

Additional events include the YPAL Unite Summit, a leadership conference focused on professional development and networking for young professionals, and the KYABA Annual Conference, which serves behavior analysis professionals through educational sessions and industry discussions.

Transportation leaders from across the United States will attend the AASHTO Annual Meeting, where participants will discuss transportation policy, infrastructure innovation, and industry developments. The Kentucky Bar Association KY Law Update will provide attorneys with continuing legal education opportunities and updates on legal issues affecting the profession.

The convention center will also host the Ultimate DECA Power Trip, a leadership event for high school students interested in business, leadership, and career development. Students will participate in educational sessions, leadership activities, and competitions designed to build professional skills.

Closing the month will be the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) Annual Convention and Trade Show. This event is expected to draw approximately 3,000 attendees and generate more than $3.3 million in economic impact. Participants from the fair and exposition industry will gather educational programs, trade show exhibits, and networking opportunities. The 2026 theme is "A Story Worth Telling."

Overall, Kentucky Venues is positioned for a strong November, with a diverse mix of agricultural events, trade shows, professional conferences, educational programs, and entertainment attractions. The combination of high attendance and significant economic impact demonstrates the importance of these events to Kentucky's tourism industry and broader economy.
