Dodge County Rodeo Brings Bulls and Barrels Action in 2026

Dodge County Rodeo Brings Bulls and Barrels Action in 2026

By Blake Jackson

Rodeo fans can look forward to an exciting evening of action when the Professional Rodeo returns to the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m., with the main event beginning at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s event, produced by the Rice Rodeo Company, introduces a fresh format known as Bulls and Barrels, offering spectators a more intense and engaging rodeo experience.

The revamped show focuses on some of the sport’s most popular and high-energy competitions, bringing top contestants and livestock together for an unforgettable night.

One of the biggest highlights will be bull riding, featuring talented riders competing against powerful bulls. Organizers say the specialized format is attracting a stronger field of competitors from across the Midwest, Oklahoma, and other regions.

Fans can also enjoy bronc riding, where cowboys test their skills against challenging ranch broncs, along with the fast-paced excitement of barrel racing.

To enhance the viewing experience, event organizers are planning a new arena layout that would position the bucking chutes closer to the center of the arena.

The change is designed to provide spectators with improved sightlines and a closer look at the action.

The rodeo remains a family-friendly event suitable for all ages. Returning to entertain the crowd is professional announcer and entertainer Caleb Claybrook of Owasso, Oklahoma, who will guide fans through the evening’s competitions and activities.

Advance ticket purchases are encouraged for those looking to save money and avoid waiting in line. Adult admission is $22 in advance and $25 at the gate, while youth tickets for ages 5 to 15 cost $12 in advance and $15 on event day. Children under five receive free admission.

The event is sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association and the World Champion Rodeo Alliance, adding to the prestige of this highly anticipated summer rodeo.
